Created in collaboration with other team members, this project is an intervention towards The Geffrye Museum's exhibition layout in the museum where they currently show 17th - 20th century living but not the present time.
This image above shows the curated pop up exhibition "Hoxton Homes" in a space located in The Geffrye Museum, with intention to reflect what the current Hoxton is. Both members of the Hoxton community and Geffrye Museum became more connected through this pop up. From then onwards, Geffrye Museum has opened its doors by hosting more events to welcome guests from the Hoxton community and other guests across London, especially in the summer when the museum's gardens are open.
The pictures below are pages from the exhibition booklet that was used for explaining items in the space - everyday household objects from people's homes in Hoxton and popular products from local businesses.
